Infinite Kafka: Rethinking retention with Iceberg

Streambased Founder and CEO Tom Scott presents infinite Kafka, an architecture that combines best of breed streaming platform Apache Kafka with best of breed historical storage format Apache Iceberg to deliver a flexible and cost effective view over data that spans from just now (millisecond latency) all the way back to the beginning of time. With this architecture in place Tom goes on to discuss the new opportunities such an architecture can offer.
